Escape to Murchison Falls & Kidepo Valley

Day 1: Arrival @ Entebbe - Drive to Murchison falls. App. 4 – 5 hours’ drive

Adventure Consults’ representative will meet you on arrival at the airport, assist through customs, or (pick from your residence/hotel if already in Uganda), and start the adventure by 10am.
Beginning with a panoramic drive northwest, you will proceed to Murchison falls arriving in time for Lunch. In the evening, go for a game drive. Dinner and overnight at the lodge – see options below.

Day 2: Game Viewing Safari - Murchison Falls N.P – Game drive takes 2 to 3 hours and the boat ride 2 hours.

Early morning game drive to the delta circuit where there’s a possibility of spotting the leopards along the leopard track, the Jackson's hartebeest, large concentrations of Uganda Kobs because of the many breeding grounds and large families of the Defassa waterbuck, together with giraffe herds, groups of the dainty oribi and buffalo herds. The high supply of Kobs called for an unavoidable prides of lions to the delta too. Lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you will safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls just tens of meters from the "Devil's Cauldron." You have an option to hike to the top of the Murchison Falls, from this vantage point you will have an opportunity to see the Nile's beauty perfected as you watch the Nile forced through a seven meter cleft in the rocks and plunge 45 meters below, forming a spectacular rainbow. Day 3: Murchison falls – Kidepo Valley – app. 7 hours’ drive.

Early morning start for Kidepo Valley National Park arriving in time for lunch. Tucked into the corner of the Uganda, Kidepo is a truly stunning park boasting a real sense of wilderness that enchants visitors. The mountainous terrain of the park is broken by the Narus Valley in the south west and Kidepo Valley in the north east…..so different from the rest of African parks.
Meals and Overnight accommodation included at the lodge.       

Day 4: Safari Drives.

During your stay, you will enjoy early morning and late afternoon game drives giving you an opportunity to see vast herds of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, waterbuck, zebra grazing alongside, a number of predators including lion (tree & rock climbing lion), cheetah, leopard, spotted hyena among others and lots of Bird species including the famous Ostrich.

Day 5: Flight to Entebbe – Flight operates strictly on wed, Friday or Sunday – subject to change.

Optional game drive or simply relax at the Lodge. After lunch, transfer to the airstrip in time for your flight to Entebbe airport departing at 1500hrs arriving Entebbe at 1630hrs, assist through customs and connect to your international return flight.
